Job Description
This is a 100% onsite position in Minnesota, requiring the candidate to work in a manufacturing environment where exposure to various machinery and high-voltage systems is present. Compliance with safety standards is essential at all times.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring production department capacity to ensure adequate equipment and resources meet requirements set by the Master Schedule.
- Establishing and maintaining operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operational Expenses (OPEX) objectives.
- Maintaining operational budgets for each production department, including reviewing budget results with budget owners monthly and identifying deviations.
- Coordinating operating departments to ensure seamless product flow meeting both internal and external requirements.
- Participating and promoting Lean manufacturing activities.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and work well under pressure.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with Oracle knowledge being an asset.
- Prior experience working with a unionized workforce is considered beneficial.
