IT Help Desk Support

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Duties

• Provide technical support for both Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
• Troubleshoot software issues and assist users in resolving technical problems.
• Manage help desk tickets using tools such as Jira and Remedy.
• Assist with computer networking tasks, ensuring connectivity and performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to understand their needs.
• Document issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to improve processes and enhance user experience.
• Conduct training sessions for users on software applications and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Office 365
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts.
• Proficient in software troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience using help desk software such as Jira or Remedy is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Compensation Package:

• Hourly pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

• Carlsbad, CA 92008 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Carlsbad, CA 92008: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
