What are the responsibilities and job description for the Formulations Operator 2 position at Syngenta Crop Protection?
Job Description
- Operate various types of formulating equipment.
- Perform routine and non-routine operations safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment with assistance and solve problems.
- Effectively use safety equipment such as respirators and protective clothing.
- Follow operator standard work to maintain formulation batch cycle time.
- Provide feedback and corrective actions when processes during the shift do not meet cycle time.
- Operate forklift and perform hand additions to formulation vessels.
- Monitor instruments, equipment and act on information
- Adapt to changes, new equipment, new procedures
- Participates in unit policies and procedures audits.
- Mill base processes maintain at least 85% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Participates in near miss / incident reporting and 5WHY / incident investigations.
- Complete changeover operator standard work to ensure changeover cycle times are consistent and efficient.
