Job Description
Develops, implements and maintains policies and procedures for Maintenance storeroom, site facilities management, and outside contractor services. Manages a staff of contract employees to perform all necessary functions of the Warehouse. Manages outside contractor maintenance of buildings and grounds. Ensures proper certification and on-boarding of non-resident contractors working in the plant.
Duties :
- Develop and implement effective procedures and controls for Storeroom physical inventory, reservations, quality control, obsolescence, scrap, tools, shipping and receiving material, capital spares list, safety equipment, respiratory PM, consignment inventory, material distribution, and mail delivery.
- Manage the most economical dollar value of Storeroom inventory required to support efficient plant maintenance.
- Analyze and develop a maintenance budget for Storeroom and General Facilities.
- Define and initiate computer applications for enhancement of inventory control and replenishment and outside contractor performance and safety compliance.
- Maintain all site facilities within the general property budget (grounds maintenance, weed control, janitorial services, pest control, laydown / surplus equipment yard, building maintenance, road and railroad maintenance).
