Role Purpose: Lead Brand Management and Brand Strategy for our Seed Brands within the Syngenta Vegetable Seeds business unit.
Location: Woodland, CA; Chicago, IL, Enkhuizen, NL – Hybrid Permitted
- Accountable for developing brand strategies for our brands and directly accountable for brand management strategy inclusive of customer experience, brand identity, and brand voice.
- Conducts brand and customer market research to understand customers’ brand perception, Customer Experience (CX) opportunities associated with each brand, in partnership with the Customer Insights Leads.
- Accountable for Brand management of brands in our portfolio. Working closely with internal and external creative, content, and digital teams to develop brand materials in line with the associated brand guidelines.
- Guardian of brand identities and voice, ensures implementation of brand materials are aligned with brand identity and that each brand retains a unique and distinct brand experience and perception with our grower customers.
- Accountable for ongoing management of each brand's documentation and brand books, ensures documentation of any product brand guidelines.
- Accountable for management of our product brand identities for product brands within our brand portfolio.
- Leads (dotted-line) territory and brand marketing teams to localize branding to local markets and culture, while keeping the brand true to targeted customer segment, brand guidelines, and brand differentiation principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- More than 8 years of relevant industry experience in Customer Marketing, Brand Management, or a Brand Marketing agency.
- Knowledge of best practices in brand management in new markets within the agriculture or chemicals industry and experience leading adaptation of brands into global markets.
- Excellent understanding of the principals of brand management and experience. Familiarity with tools, technologies, and best practices associated with managing brand guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with creative, content, and digital teams to develop brand identities with multiple brands. Familiar with channel strategies and best practices in brand development.
- Experience in conducting brand audits, brand perception measurement activities, and developing brand materials and templates.
- Experience leveraging insights, analytics, and data to inform brand strategy. Demonstrated experience working with research teams to develop research to inform brand strategy.
- Excellent project management capabilities, including developing project charters, budget proposals, and long-term project planning.
