General Assistant

Assist Crop Protection Field Development Scientist implementation of the Product Evaluation field program sales support and other relevant activities. Examples include :

• Maintain equipment and facilities to enhance trial and data quality.
• Provide assistance with or perform inseason operations such as planting treatment applications evaluations scouting maintenance and other field program tasks.
• Perform and / or facilitate preseason and post season site maintenance operations to ensure continuous productivity of trial sites.
• Provide assistance with plot tours i.e. site preparations signs and handouts.
• Assist with site compliance with local regulations and Syngentas Safety Guidelines.
• Communicate with Syngenta contact regarding the status of projects and work activities.
• Ability to work independently without direct oversight.

Qualifications :

Education / Experience : Minimum high school diploma / GED required. Could include previous work experience in a related field (e.g. farm experience equipment repair AgChem research / development or similar) OR working on a degree in Agriculture or agriculture related discipline. Good oral and written communication as well as some computer skills.
