We are seeking a detailoriented and skilled Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team in our genetic testing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work and a passion for scientific research.
Duties :
- Process leaf and seed samples for DNA extraction operating various lab equipment including PCR and sequencing machines to obtain highquality results
- Manage sample organization meet testing deadlines and maintain detailed records while ensuring sample integrity throughout the testing process
- Collaborate with team members train contract staff and participate in data quality analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Handle laboratory logistics including shipping receiving inventory management and maintaining a clean work environment
- Update task tracking tools participate in team meetings and adhere to safety protocols while demonstrating strong attention to detail in all tasks
