As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of cooler harvest storage, organization, discards, and issue reporting. You will also oversee the download, packing, delivery, and paperwork for URC customer receiving.
This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage supervisors, ensure budget adherence, and maintain processes that are compliant with Syngenta HSES regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Cooler and Logistics Departments: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our cooler and logistics departments, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
- Coordinate Transportation and Order Fulfillment: Work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Respond to Customer Inquiries: Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution of issues.
- Communicate Job Expectations and Manage Employee Performance: Develop and implement performance plans, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure employees have the necessary training and resources to excel in their roles.
- Foster Cooperation within and between Departments: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across the organization, promoting collaboration and open communication.
Requirements
- Logistics Fundamentals and Management Skills: Proven experience in managing shipments, inventory, and logistics operations.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Spanish Fluency (Desirable): Knowledge of Spanish language and culture is an asset in this role.
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
