Synigent Technologies is looking for a Business Systems Analyst for a client in Richmond. This is a long term contract and hybrid, with 3 days on-site each week.
In this position the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. This work includes analyzing complex business processes, requirements elicitation and documentation, internal review of other BSA documentation, and the creation and / or review of comprehensive meeting minutes during project related meetings. The BSA will work closely with the project manager(s), developers, quality assurance analysts, and business stakeholders
Key requirements include :
- 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on IT - ERP projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Database Querying (SQL, Oracle and / or Crystal).
- Understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with project management concepts and practices.
- Task entry and tracking via Jira
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and use cases.
- Experience in creating comprehensive and clear documentation.
- Proficiency in modeling techniques, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Proficiency in business modeling and analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, or similar.
- Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit requirements.
- Experience in translating business requirements into detailed system specifications
