About the Role
The NetApp Field Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering turn-key solutions for NetApp and related vendor technologies, leveraging their expertise to implement advanced services primarily in NetApp. This position involves delivering a turnkey NetApp storage system ready for data migration or advanced software configuration, supporting migration-related products and technologies such as 7MTT, XCP, Dobi Migrate, DTA, and secure copy/Storage-X.
Key Skills
* Strong technical knowledge of FAS AFF & E-Series hardware
* Experience with controller upgrades (head swaps)
* Proficiency in ONTAP 9.0 and SANTricity OS
* Familiarity with OnCommand Insight - OCI, Cloud Products (CVO) - NetApp BlueXP and StorageGrid configuration
* Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex computer systems and custom design and develop systems to meet customer needs
* Background with virtualization and hypervisors
