About the Role:
Synolo Therapeutics is seeking an innovative and collaborative Senior Scientist in Immunology to join our fast-paced startup and work alongside a highly dynamic team to advance multi-specific biologics. As a key scientific contributor, you will develop and execute immune assays to evaluate drug leads, working cross-functionally to drive our drug discovery and development efforts. In our highly supportive, team-driven environment, your creativity and expertise will help shape our science and accelerate our mission to bring transformative medicines to patients in need.
\n- Contribute to and support research activities and project goals for the immunology group
- Develop, optimize, and run immune assays using primary cells and cell lines to characterize muti-specific biologics leads (ex: ELISA, MSD, flow cytometry, luminescence reporter assays, co-culture assay, cytotoxicity assay)
- Generate, engineer, and maintain cultures and stocks of immortalized cell lines and primary human cell samples (ex: PBMCs)
- Analyze, summarize, and communicate experimental results verbally and in writing
- Record data and maintain an electronic lab notebook (ELN)
- Work collaboratively in a start up environment
- Proven expertise with immunological techniques, including ELISA, MSD and flow cytometry
- Extensive experience with current molecular biology and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, reporter assays, transfection, and transduction
- Experience in designing in vivo studies for demonstrating pre-clinical activity of novel therapeutics
- Deep understanding of biologics and antibodies, with hands-on experience in their development and application
- Strong analytical mindset, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Team-driven and adaptable, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a collaborative research environment
- Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal

- PhD in Immuno-Oncology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field with 3 years of industry experience, Or
- MS with 5 years of industry experience, Or
- BS with 8 years industry experience
- Hands-on experience with characterizing biologics through cell-based immune assays
- Hands-on experience with running multi-color flow cytometry
- Industry experience
