What You'll Be Doing:
- Implementing, maintaining, and consulting on the observability tool stack to support multiple internal stakeholders.
- Participating in the design and implementation of new system layers for high complexity compute environments.
- Utilizing your problem-solving skills to prevent and investigate production issues.
- Measuring and optimizing system performance to push capabilities forward and meet customer needs.
- Researching and developing systems, architectures, and applications to enhance observability solutions.
- Ensuring infrastructure management, process optimization, security & compliance, and business analytics are met.

What You'll Need:
- In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Understanding of performance metrics including data pipelines, data management, and data analytics.
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and tools like Git, Flux, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Domain knowledge of infrastructure requirements including networking, storage, and hardware optimization.
- Experience in large scale engineering environments for HPC/EDA or similar workloads.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with HA and scalability knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- 5 years of relevant experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
