You are a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in test and validation engineering, particularly within the hardware and software co-verification domain. You are adaptable, capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and are willing to travel both domestically and internationally to support customer sites. What You'll Be Doing:
You will be a crucial member of the Synopsys Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV) field support team. This team is dedicated to ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our emulation and prototyping hardware solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customer support teams to drive the excellence of our hardware products.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing Synopsys hardware at various customer sites, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborating with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze potential hardware failures and define corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate data on all hardware activities and providing periodic reports to management.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to review the production process, ensuring superior quality of Synopsys hardware.
- Integrating boards into complete systems by preparing chassis, mounting mechanical parts on electronic boards, and wiring cabling.
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers to enhance the usability and adoption of Synopsys products.
- Ensuring the seamless installation and maintenance of Synopsys hardware, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and success.
- Improving hardware reliability and performance through meticulous analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of production processes, enhancing the overall quality of Synopsys products.
- Facilitating the integration of hardware into complete systems, enabling efficient and effective prototyping and emulation.
- Strengthening customer relationships by providing exceptional technical support and expertise.
- Contributing to the innovation and advancement of hardware-assisted verification solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in test and validation engineering.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages such as bash and tcsh is a plus, or willingness to dedicate time to learn Linux on the job.
- Experience with hardware installation and maintenance at customer sites.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve hardware issues.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
