You Are:
You are a visionary leader with a deep passion for analog design, particularly in the realm of high-speed SerDes applications. With over 15 years of experience, you have honed your skills in transistor-level circuit design and have a robust understanding of CMOS design fundamentals. Your extensive experience spans across designing various SerDes sub-circuits, including receive equalizers, samplers, voltage/current-mode drivers, serializers, deserializers, voltage-controlled oscillators, phase mixers, delay-locked loops, phase-locked loops, bandgap references, ADCs, and DACs. You are well-versed in the intricacies of both analog and digital circuits and possess a keen awareness of ESD issues, custom digital design, design for reliability, and layout effects. Your communication and documentation skills are exemplary, and you have a solid understanding of system-level budgeting and signal integrity issues. You excel in developing resource plans and project schedules in collaboration with multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams. Moreover, you have a proven track record of guiding senior talent and fostering the development of junior talent within an engineering design organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Guiding multiple teams in designing, developing, and refining Multi-Gbps PAM4 SERDES IP.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional design team of analog and digital designers from diverse backgrounds.
- Working from SerDes standards to block specifications to identify potential circuit architectures and successful design strategies.
- Utilizing a full suite of IC design tools supplemented by custom in-house tools supported by an experienced software/CAD team.
- Ensuring the design and development of high-speed analog integrated circuits in the latest FinFET process nodes.
- Developing resource plans and project schedules in collaboration with multi-disciplinary, multi-site teams.

What You’ll Need:
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 15 years of experience in Analog Design for High-Speed SerDes applications.
- 8 years of experience in a management role.
- In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design and CMOS design fundamentals.
- Detailed design experience with various SerDes sub-circuits.
