What You'll Be Doing :
- Managing Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) security projects and programs, including process improvement and technology implementation.
- Identifying needed resources to achieve timely deliverables and drives problem resolution through fact-based, conscious decision making.
- Offering new solutions or directions and encouraging and motivating others to support these new solutions or directions.
- Developing and presenting program KPIs and program health checks and risks to leadership.
- Developing a deep understanding of projects within the program portfolio, managing assigned projects with a clear understanding of business and IT context, and understanding cross-program portfolio dependencies.
- Communicating findings from initiatives to management and the broader organization.
- Partnering closely with other functions including IT, Product, and Engineering.
- Working independently, with limited day-to-day guidance from senior management leadership.
- Using cross-functional knowledge to understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business and connecting the dots for key stakeholders to drive increased alignment.
- Effectively influencing and collaborating to achieve continual progress on objectives while managing risks and changes.
- Leading, planning, executing, and controlling an assigned portfolio of InfoSec projects, covering all security domains from risk and compliance to technology implementation to security operations.
- Ensuring that project status reports are relevant, transparent, and add value.
- Working with InfoSec leaders to manage initiatives to address delivery / maturity pain points and challenges.
- Advising senior management on specialized technical or business issues.
- Coordinating activities of other personnel as a team lead.
- Representing the InfoSec organization as the principal contact on business unit and / or company-wide projects.

You will be part of the Synopsys Information Security team, which is growing and further building our project management practices by implementing security best practices, world-class security operations, and data-driven governance and risk. This team collaborates closely with IT, engineering, and product development teams to integrate security best practices and drive continuous improvement in our security posture.
