Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for focusing on new customer acquisition, selling advanced systems integration projects and managed IT services to mid-sized organizations within North America. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the art of complex environments by utilizing proven solution / consultative selling methodologies and skill sets. This professional must be extremely proficient in prospecting for new customers, networking, and relationship building throughout client organizations to include all C-level executives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new logo average contract values of $1M - $5M within a defined target market
- Successfully sell to mid-market commercial organizations by combining multiple service pillars : Business Applications (Consulting, Implementation, and Management), Data Analytics, Custom Application Development, Cloud Advancement, Managed Security, Workforce Productivity, and Full IT Outsourcing
- Define a phased vision for customers, outcome success, win themes, and value proposition by combining technical modernization, financial situational improvement, risk mitigation, and organizational efficiencies
- Develop and lead creative deal shapes, commercial structures, and pricing proposals as part of a winning sales pursuit, while working closely with all practices
- Leverage all facets of lead generation including, but not limited to outbound lead generation, technology alliance partners (such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, AWS), industry associations, and a strong personal network
- Effectively engage and converse with C-level contacts
