Minimum Education:

Areas of risk include, but are not limited to, embezzlement, outages, identity theft, access management, data failures, and task errors.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists documenting, monitoring and assessing risks and related controls for Division. Participates in Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to ensure business unit meets corporate standards that specifically relate to risk management. Performs follow-up on issues and/or treatment plans documented by Operational Risk Management.
- Performs Self-Testing and Risk Assessments for call agents and their respective team units within Division. Performs self-testing and risk assessments for general operational processes for Division on a routine basis. May perform self-testing and risk assessments for customer-facing and agents' calls and cases on daily basis or other self-testing and risk assessments for specific groups.
- Participates in assessment summaries to leadership with recommendations for areas of suggested improvement; assists with developing and executing related action plans for agreed upon improvements.
- Serves in various roles as deemed necessary to partner with other risk-related departments such as IRR, Compliance, etc. Partners as a Business Continuity Facilitator for the Division to ensure continuity plans are kept current. Tasks include maintaining the department call tree, facilitating the annual tabletop exercise, updating the BIA and business continuity plan. Liaison with Consumer Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Compliance and/or Internal Audit teams as needed to ensure areas of associated risk are properly mitigated and supporting documentation remain current. Liaison with Information Risk & Resiliency and other LOBs to participate in risk assessments and tabletop exercises and ensure associated risks are properly mitigated, documented and remain current.
- May assist with various reporting and presentation needs including the preparation of departmental reports and presentations.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:
- Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an undergraduate degree
- 1 year experience
- Experience in banking or financial industry.
- Relevant experience in internal/external audit, operational risk management, accounting and/or regulatory compliance (or related).
- Experience reviewing and understanding policies, procedures and regulations.
- Experience identifying, documenting and evaluating risks and controls relating to operations, financial reporting, and compliance processes and objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; solid presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships.
- Ability to independently prioritize and follow-up on commitments and take initiative to resolve issues, self-motivated, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
