Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the division's technology strategy with a strong emphasis on product engineering, aligned with company objectives.
- Leads and manages a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to drive performance and growth.
- Drives digital initiatives within the division, leveraging product engineering principles to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Oversees the management of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications within the division, with a focus on product development and engineering practices.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify technology opportunities and challenges specific to product engineering, providing strategic solutions to support business growth.
- Monitors industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to product engineering, recommending innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and managing service delivery to meet product engineering requirements within the division.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in information security and data privacy within the product engineering domain.
- Builds an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers. Continuously evaluates the organization structure for efficiency improvements. Ensures team members have access to professional and personal growth within the organization.
- Promotes ethics and compliance and builds and sustains an environment where adherence to and reinforcement of the highest standards of integrity and ethics are the norm and has zero tolerance for unethical behavior. Identifies opportunities and takes action to enhance compliance within the organization.
- Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Experience:
- Twelve years of experience in a leadership role within Information Technology with a focus on product engineering, driving technology strategy and innovation; driving continuous improvement in product development; delivering results, and managing IT projects and teams.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align technology initiatives with product engineering objectives within the division.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders within the product engineering domain.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the IT field, particularly in product engineering.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Advanced degree.
