Job Overview
We are a private speech-language patholgoy practice with an active pediatric clientele. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office Administrator to join our team to work during our normal business hours from Monday through Thursdays. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our private practice through various administrative tasks, working with a co-administrator, and providing support to the owner. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to the team working environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring timely and accurate data input, reconciling patient accounts and transactions, communication with patients and parents, correspondence with insurance companies, filing, checking in/out of patients, and assisting with management of office environment.
Good inter-personal skills with a friendly demeanor to interact with children and adults is a must.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent clerical skills including attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Experience with financial oversight.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of human resources practices and employee management.
- Proficient in English
- Bookkeeping experience and/or aptitude with financials is a plus.
