Senior Director, Procurement
Location: New Hampshire (Hybrid Open to Relo)
This role is needed to create and shape the strategy procurement process, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure the highest standards of quality and service across our direct/equipment and indirect procurement. Our individual departments manage their own budgets but this role will implement the initiatives, identify key areas of improvement opportunities with supplier relationships, reducing costs, and mitigating risks, and this role will also oversee the procurement analytics to ensure data-driven insights. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Director of Procurement will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company's strategy to optimize procurement processes, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure the highest standards of quality and service across both direct/equipment and indirect procurement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy for both direct (equipment) and indirect purchases that aligns with overall strategic objectives and financial goals
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring reliable service metrics
- Establish procurement guidelines that clearly define roles and responsibilities of category management for procurement personnel (direct/equipment, indirect, and corporate services & software)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring high standards of quality and service
- Lead the continuous improvement of procurement processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop robust procurement analytics, leveraging data to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and inspire a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results-driven performance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of success in driving cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency at a senior leadership level
- Big brand, multi-unit, broad indirect procurement experience
- Strong marketing experience is desire
