The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. The role requires proficiency in both mechanical and electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostics to identify issues.
- Work with other maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Multicraft Mechanic Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
