Human Resources Manager

Syntax Talent Solutions is partnering with an international Manufacturing company in search of their next Human Resources Manager who will oversee their operation in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within the manufacturing sector and be proficient in using Paycom HR software. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage and enhance our HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the company attracts and hires the best talent.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Utilize Paycom software for payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR management.
- Promote a positive work environment and culture within the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Paycom HR software.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
