Junior Human Resource Generalist

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our client's team in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in recruiting and employee relations, and will play a key role in supporting our HR functions. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who's early in their career and looking to be more hands on in the tactical execution of the company's HR responsibilities. This is also a great opportunity for someone who's primarily recruited, to expand into more generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs to ensure a positive work environment.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires.
- Collaborate with management to address HR-related issues and provide guidance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in recruiting and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
