Syntax Talent Solutions is partnering with our client, a growing international manufacturing company, who is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. This opportunity is open due to growth and succession planning, with the chance to earn a promotion on the horizon after making a positive impact and accumulating tenure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AS9100 standards, Six Sigma methodologies, and is looking for the opportunity to move into a Quality Management role in the next 3 years or so.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain AS9100 quality management systems.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Utilize Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data and provide insights for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards.
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
