Syntelligent is seeking a Cartographic Analyst with a TS/SCI clearance for upcoming, contingent work with a federal client in Springfield, VA!
Work Schedule: 1500–2300 (2nd Shift)
Work Location: NGA-Wash (NCE), in-office only
Security Clearance: TS/SCI, with a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production, and Review.
- Support existing and developing mission areas, including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
- Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma and 3 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
- High School diploma and 3 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification.
- Experience in geography, cartography, and GIS, with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
- Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
- Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.

The likely salary range for this position is $60,000-69,000 per year. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, Spot bonuses, and program-specific awards. In addition, Syntelligent provides a variety of benefits to all our Full-Time employees.
