Synthesis
Synthesis Teams build game-based experiences to that turn kids into effective decision-makers and communicators. Our co-founder Josh developed the concept for Synthesis Teams when he was director of SpaceX's Ad Astra school. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to help us create world-class collaborative problem-solving video games.
What You'll Do
You will work with a team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality game-based learning experiences that will change the future of education :
Collaborate with designers, teachers, and operations to design and implement new experiences for our students
Have a design instinct and be able to make design decisions to improve the user experience
Experiment and iterate quickly, pivoting when prototypes don't pan out.
Set up analytics to measure the impact of your work
What we're looking for :
2 years of experience in front-end development using React.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypesScript, and related web technologies.
Proficiency in SQL, for both building features and data analytics.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to haves :
Experience with game development (e.g. Phaser).
