Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Production Technician I to join our team at Synthomer in Mogadore, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and packaging chemical plant equipment and finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning miscellaneous equipment including tanks, tank cars, and polymerization vessels.
- Operating fork trucks to transfer pallets of raw materials to mezzanines.
- Recording data in written and electronic formats.
- Transferring products through proper lines by identifying correct lines and completing hookups.
- Visually checking lines, connections, and bleed-off valves before, during, and after transfers.
- Packing and labeling products into totes and drums.
- Knowing tank capacities for work areas.
- Supporting compliance efforts with RCMS, ISO, PSM, OSHA, etc.
