Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data warehousing/integrations, This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and developing data platforms, and ensuring efficient data processing and storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms
- Lead data scientists, analysts, and product owners to meet data needs
- Implement data governance and security practices
- Develop and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, data storage, and processing
- Provide technical leadership in adopting emerging technologies and tools for data infrastructure
- Drive innovation and business transformation through efficient and secure cloud-native solutions
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in data warehousing/integrations
- 7 years of experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and runtimes
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or Docker
- Experience with message brokers, event-driven architectures and real-time data processing
- In-depth knowledge of cloud storage systems and their applications.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for efficient delivery pipelines.
- Practical expertise with major cloud service providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Fluent knowledge of the English language.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with modern data stack
- Knowledge of data mesh principles and decentralized data systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code like Terraform or Pulumi
- Familiarity with data governance tools and practices
