Duties
- Deliver personalized care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control policies.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Valid certification or licensure as required by state regulations (e.g., CNA, LPN).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to improve the quality of life for residents.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
