We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for our busy Endocrinology Medical Office.
Relevant experience is required; we will also train the right candidate for our office-specific tasks
These are the core functions that you will be expected to perform :
Multi-tasking is a norm at our office
Operate heavy phones - schedule appointments, look up patient info and lab results..etc
Collect copays and older balances directly from patients
Conduct Prior Authorizations for drugs and other procedures - prior experience is a plus.
Verify patient insurance eligibility online and on the phone (if needed) - prior experience is a plus
Proficiency in computers is a must - we utilize EHR, email and other computer-based programs to the fullest and if you are not very comfortable with computers, this job isn't for you.
Medical Assistant experience is a plus.
