What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Staff I position at Syr Comm Health Cntr?
POSITION SUMMARY:
To actively assist in keeping the Health Center clean and sanitary daily according to written guidelines and procedures. To routinely perform daily housekeeping and cleaning functions in an assigned work area.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift. Ability to use any of the following: mops, buckets, cleaning solutions, vacuum cleaners, utility carts, floor cleaning machines, wet/dry vacuums and any other equipment used in the ordinary pursuit of the department objective.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ambulatory – 95% Sedentary- 5%
Subject to stress and fatigue. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when working with equipment. Subject to repeated bending, squatting and stooping and lifting up to 80lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
