Position Summary
Meet and greet all guests in the Administrative Reception area. Provide administrative support including but not limited to planning and coordinating meetings, taking minutes, managing calendars, preparing documents, maintaining binders, composing correspondence and preparing reports. Answer phones, provide appropriate information and, transfer calls as appropriate. Provide quality customer service at all times to patients, visitors, staff members and other people presenting at or contacting the Health Center.
Education And Experience
Associates Degree in related field or completion of recognized training program as an Administrative Assistant required. Three to Five years demonstrated experience at an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office products. Word & Excel required, PowerPoint and Access preferred. Type 40-50 wpm. Bi-lingual skills, preferably English-Spanish, a plus. Three to Five years of relevant administrative experience in a confidential setting required. Healthcare experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle objects; controls, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
