Technolog: 3D cone beam, Itero Scanner (compatible with Invisalign), Muscle EMGs, T-Scan, ceiling mounted TV, electric handpiece piece, implant motor, and more.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring the overall health and satisfaction of our patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform general dentistry procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and preventive care.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments performed.
- Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques into practice as appropriate.
- Provide pediatric dental care with an understanding of child psychology and behavior management.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in performing root canal therapy is highly desirable.
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
