The CNI Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the East Adams Street Neighborhood Transformation Project and other SHA development projects, ensuring that project activities align with established timelines, budgets, and objectives. This position requires a high degree of project management expertise, as it involves managing the schedules and deliverables of multiple partners, maintaining the project's critical path, and resolving any issues that may arise to keep the project on track. The CNI Program Manager works under the general supervision of the Director of Development, liaising regularly with internal teams, community stakeholders, and external partners. The incumbent is accountable for facilitating collaboration among project participants and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful completion of project goals. TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES
- Develops and maintains project's critical paths, using project management software to track milestones, identify potential bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Coordinates schedules, meetings, and communications among multiple partners, including housing authority departments, government agencies, contractors, and community organizations.
- Facilitates project planning sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with HUD's CNI grant requirements.
- Tracks project budgets and expenses, working with finance teams to monitor expenditures, approve invoices, and ensure financial accountability.
- Regularly reviews and updates project plans, including timelines, resources, and assigned responsibilities, to reflect current project status and address emerging needs or challenges.
- Schedules and leads regular progress meetings with project teams and stakeholders, providing updates on key metrics, tasks, and deadlines.
- Prepares and submits project status reports to HUD and other regulatory bodies, detailing progress, upcoming milestones, and any potential risks to the project's critical path.
- Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates project risks by developing contingency plans and adjusting timelines or resources as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, coordinating efforts to ensure alignment with project objectives and promptly resolving issues or conflicts.
- Ensures compliance with HUD guidelines and Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant requirements, maintaining thorough documentation of project activities, changes, and outcomes.
- Provides training and guidance to support staff on project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Reviews contractor and partner deliverables to confirm quality and consistency with project standards and requirements.
