What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bat Person position at Syracuse Mets?
Job Description:
- Work with the Syracuse Mets Clubhouse manager to provide game-day assistance to Syracuse Mets players & visiting team
- Set up dugouts with Gatorade, towels, equipment, etc. before each game
- Assist with laundry and cleaning of clubhouse, player gear, etc.
- Retrieve bats & equipment from the field between batters
- Shag balls on 1st & 3rd base lines as assigned
- Provide new baseballs to umpires as needed
- Assist in all other duties as needed
