The Content Strategist plays a critical role on the content team. An exceptional writer, with the ability to make complex content digestible and relatable, they will create storytelling and strategic content for flagship digital channels and traditional print materials. They will work with internal / external thought leaders, students, staff, faculty and subject matter experts, as well as, multimedia creators, designers, and the digital team on assignments related to topics that ignite the imagination of our key audiences. These could take a variety of content forms (ex. feature articles, social media posts, data visualizations, videos). This individual will be adept at AP style, all forms of content (Ex. feature stories, campaign content, strategic digital / web content, email communications, social media content, brochures, news, etc.) and will be skillful in writing content that achieves desired outcomes. A creative thinker, they must be able to mine and identify stories from key partners across campus. This individual must be a strategic thinker who can navigate cross-functionally and represent the team in strategic planning meetings and projects. This will involve running point on project content strategy, assessing content needs and identifying messaging opportunities that map to the strategic vision.
