Job Description : Syracuse University is seeking a skilled Web Developer with full stack development experience with a strong emphasis on modern front-end interface and site development. They will join the broader digital development team within the Division of Marketing to help develop and maintain the central web presence of Syracuse University, Syracuse.edu. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining the code and template files controlling centrally-supported themes used on other University websites. The Web Developer position will work closely with the UI / UX Designer to ensure front-end usability, design and accessibility requirements are met and help manage and maintain the Digital Design System used by University websites. They will lead discussions on industry best practices with particular focus on new and emerging technologies, features, and trends.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of education and work experience.
- Three (3) plus years of work experience related to web design, development, and maintenance.
