Education and Experience
- BA or BS preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse faculty, staff, student, and participants
- Working knowledge of computer programs, Excel, and systems.
- Basic knowledge of protocols, inclusion/exclusion criteria, informed consent process, research tools, and confidentiality preferred.
- Basic research knowledge preferred.
- Meet with study participants for their lab sessions and administer the study protocol. This entails obtaining consent, introducing online questionnaires and answering questions about them as needed, explaining interactive tasks and monitoring participant progress on them, and using video/audio recording equipment to record interpersonal interactions.
- Schedule participants for testing sessions. Track that participants are attending scheduled sessions and completing at-home questionnaires. Follow-up with participants by phone and by email. Reschedule missed participant appointments.
- Assist in recruiting study participants (e.g., manage social media advertisements, post flyers in the community, contact community partners). Answer questions about the study in person, over the phone, and by email.
- Prepare paper testing materials (e.g., photocopy, lay out prior to sessions). Prepare equipment (e.g., open computer tasks, follow instructions to initiate audio/video recording system) prior to the studies. Download and save data after the sessions, and file all paper testing materials.
