Job Summary:
- Position Overview:
The LCSW Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision, training, and guidance to social workers and other mental health professionals within the organization. This role ensures that staff are adhering to ethical and legal standards while providing high-quality care to clients. The supervisor will also provide direct clinical services as needed, as well as contribute to the development and implementation of programs aimed at enhancing the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Supervision: - Provide regular, individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed social workers, trainees, and other mental health professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the clinical practices of staff to ensure compliance with ethical standards, organizational policies, and legal regulations.
- Facilitate case consultations and ensure staff are using evidence-based practices in treatment planning and interventions.
- Assist staff in managing complex and high-risk cases, providing clinical guidance and support.
- Review and co-sign clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Licensure: Valid and active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in Indiana
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in social work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising clinical staff, particularly in a social work or mental health setting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical social work practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Familiarity with documentation standards and clinical record-keeping.
