Job Summary :
The Psychiatric Services Director is role responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of social work services within the organization. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent skills, and a deep understanding of mental health and addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Leadership :
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to social work staff.
Participate in patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Program Development and Management :
Oversee the development and implementation of social work programs.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments.
Staff Management :
Recruit, hire, and train social work staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Address staff concerns and promote a positive work environment.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
Work with community agencies and organizations to coordinate care and referrals.
Administrative Duties :
Manage budgets and resources.
Prepare reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
