Job Summary :
Syra Health is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Rheumatologist Physician to join our team. This critical role will involve providing high-quality medical care to service members and their families within a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, including history and physical examinations, for patients with rheumatic conditions.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, gout, and other inflammatory conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and musculoskeletal ultrasounds.
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in clinical rounds, case conferences, and other educational activities.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with MTF regulations.
- Adhere to all MTF policies and procedures, including infection control guidelines and Joint Commission standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the rheumatology department.
- Maintain and enhance professional development through continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Meet established productivity targets : 245 patient encounters per month and 780 RVUs per month.
