What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurses Aide position at Syringa General Hospital?
Under the direction and supervision of the licensed RN performs basic patient care services.
Essential Duties:
-Assists the patient with ADL’s (activities of daily living) such as personal hygiene and grooming care, feeding, ambulation, turning, lifting, transporting of patients.
-Obtains, reports, and records patient data.
-Assists with swing bed patient activities.
-Performs miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
-High school graduate preferred.
-Completion of Idaho approved nursing assistant training program or actively enrolled in an Idaho approved nursing assistant training program and working under the supervision of a licensed RN.
-Maintains current BLS certification.
-Achieves and maintains a passing score of 85% or greater on all mandatory competency measurements applicable: (BLS, Basic Math and Medical Abbreviations, New Born Care Competency).
