Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial property. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and management skills, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and financial goals are met. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks while providing exceptional service to both tenants and property owners.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting property showings, and processing applications.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests using property management software such as MRI Affordable Housing with other applications.
- Supervising of the maintenance staff and coordinate contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the properties.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner, fostering positive relationships with residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining accurate reports and records.
- Assist with budgeting for property operations, including forecasting expenses and tracking income.
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize occupancy rates and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Stay informed about local laws and regulations related to property management to ensure compliance.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office management tasks.
- Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and facilities management best practices.
- Familiarity with property management software such as MRI, Bostonpost or OneSite is preferred.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong sales acumen to promote properties and attract potential tenants.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong of experience in property management maintenance or similar job experience. Any office skills set are encouraged to apply! We are willing to train someone that is interested in making a career in property management!
