Maintenance Technician

SYRINGA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to oversee the general maintenance of the apartment community. We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys helping our amazing residents. The Fruita Mews, is a brand-new community opening in October. Adjacent to Monument Ridge Elementary School.

This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week.

Duties and responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.
• Ensure resident maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintaining property to always provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Oversee and manage the maintenance budget.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems,
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and plumbing
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
• On-call availability to respond to after-hours emergencies
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
