Position Purpose
Responsible to solicit and maintain bids and agreements, promote the Sysco Brand products and programs, build relationships with vendors and current/potential customers. Also manages prices and data to assist the company in maximizing its profitability.

Primary Responsibilities
- Acts as day-to-day contact for quotes, bids and sourcing inquiries, identifies customer goals and works with specialist/brokers for new product opportunities. Ensures that correspondence between IFG cross-functional teams and customers is positive and effective.
- Maintains, updates and monitors bid pricing, customer agreements, vendor tracking and daily sales audits to ensure correct pricing and profitability. Build and maintains product library.
- Develops segment, brand and category offerings for current and potential customers. Works hand and hand with sales team to increase items in identified areas to streamline purchasing patterns.
- Promotes Sysco Brand through customer food shows, product cuttings, bundles. Works with marketing, merchandising and vendor community on promotions and campaigns.
- HSD or GED required.
- At least 2 years of foodservice experience. Prefer 2 years prior foodservice sales, restaurant management or culinary background. Prior experience working with customers.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to sell, multi-task, calculate figures, shift priorities, work independently or in a team, meet deadlines, show initiative, understand profit and loss, effectively present information and answer questions.
- Familiarity with customer service activities and interdepartmental/cross-departmental communications.
