JOB SUMMARY
This is an in-office position that performs account reconciliations of subsidiary ledgers to G/l, participates in the monthly general ledger close process and performs financial analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries and assist with month end close process.
Prepare and enter weekly and monthly results into BPC.
Provide continuous feedback on daily questions. Supervise AP team and Accountant, to include: coaching, training, department improvements and solutions.
Analyze and monitor out of balance situations with the general ledger and perform corrective action.
Perform monthly and year-end tax packages.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience:
4 years of related accounting experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Skills:
Working knowledge of GAAP and proficiency on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Working knowledge of AS400 preferred
