Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily work and safety of delivery staff, including adherence to standard operating procedures and providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to transportation and safety.
- Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
- Prepare work schedules and coordinate with sales management and marketing associates to resolve customer issues.
- Visit customer locations to address issues and assess delivery difficulties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-4 year degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in transportation or logistics.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- HazMat certification preferred.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.
Physical Demands
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and sitting, as well as occasional lifting and moving of up to 100 pounds.
