Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Maintenance Specialist II to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in heavy duty truck maintenance and repair.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks preferred.
- Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
