Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and cost-efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
- Conduct FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Moderate knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment.
- Expert knowledge and skill of all vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to operate various pieces of equipment.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, lift/carry, and grasp tools.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
