Sysco Warehouse Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Sysco warehouse team as a Warehouse Selector. This role is critical to our food service supply chain, and we are looking for someone who can accurately select and fulfill customer orders.
This role involves operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift to move product throughout the warehouse.
You will be responsible for organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
A safe working environment is provided, with work areas varying based on local weather conditions and product type (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).
Responsibilities
Must be at least 18 years of age.
0 – 1 Year relevant work experience preferred.
Frequently lift product weighing 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
Stand for 10 – 12 hours daily.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
1 year Selection Experience.
2 years consistent work history preferred.
